Emptiness and sense of loss,
losing myself and at what cost.
Mindless and floating throughout time,
always remembering the time you were mine.

If you love it then set it free,
countless people have told me
but I think of futures I can not clearly see
and wonder if I'm really meant to let it be

And then one day you come back here.
Again! At Last! But still I fear
that this time you will turn to leave
and once again I will be left to grieve.

The first good-bye was my mistake
but this time it's not mine to make.
